Surfing in the Alentejo

Kalux Surf School is dedicated to everyone - from beginners eager to learn the fundamentals of surfing to advanced surfers looking to hone their skills. With a team of experienced and passionate instructors, we offer lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our courses are designed to ensure that you not only learn to surf, but also understand the culture of surfing and the importance of safety at sea.

  • JR’s beginners: For young beginners who are taking their first paddles.
  • Beginner for adults:
    For adults who want to learn about the benefits of surfing.
  • Intermediates: For those who have already caught a few waves and are ready for the next level.
  • Advanced: For experienced surfers who want to challenge themselves further.
  • Adults: Classes adapted for adults, regardless of skill level.

Since 2011, Kalux, on São Torpes beach, has been the ideal place for those who like surfing and good food. Here, the atmosphere is different: surf during the day and relax with a cocktail at sunset.
